Content Disclaimer

I am transparent in which content has been sponsored, and which isn't. You can be sure that any content which does not include the following practices includes links, promotion, etc. has been written of my own accord.

While some content may be sponsored, or part of a gifting campaign, all opinions are my own and will never be influenced. If I didn't enjoy something I received, I will let you know in a fair, non-discriminatory way. 

Due to updated influencer ad guidelines, these disclaimers are relevant as of January 2019. 

Gifting

Posts which include gifted content will include [GIFTED] within the page title. As well as this, there will be a sentence or two disclaimer at the beginning of the post, and the reader will be made aware of the item(s) in question.

Sponsored & Paid-For Content

Posts which I have received money to write and share will include [AD] within the page title, as well as a sentence or two disclaimer at the beginning and end of the post. If there are any items or topics I have been paid to include within the post, the reader will be made aware of these.

Affiliate Links

Affiliate links are links where I earn a set % of money through you clicking on the URL and/or buying something through it. This is at no extra cost to you as a reader, and you are under no obligation to visit or use these links. Posts with affiliate links included will have [AFFILIATE] within the title, and the reader will be made aware of the exact URL(s) in question. As well as this, there will be a sentence or two disclaimer at the beginning of the post.

Collaborations

Often, I may write content and share URLs in collaboration with brands but this hasn't been paid for. These are usually promotional for clients I work with in my day job, however this may not be the case for all which is why I've created this disclaimer. Posts which include this style of content & promotion will have [COLLAB] within the title, and next to the URL(s) in question. There will also be a sentence or two disclaimer at the beginning of the post.

I aim to adhere to ASA Guidelines, which are updated regularly. If you find I am not adhering to current practice, please let me know & I will update my content to fit.
